Essential Therapy Store & Spa is a day spa located off West End in Nashville, TN. They came to me with a need to be able to purchase gift certificates online for any of several holiday seasons as well as have the ability to buy generic, off-season gift certificates as well. Included with this is a small online store used to sell product and other merchandise from within the store itself.

The site also serves as a brochure of their available products and services as well as the costs associated with those services. Essential Therapy also offers an online mailing list which they use cutting edge software to deliver promotions, announcements and other spa news to their established customers.

The gift certificate solution was custom development and is similar to the system used by Hair and Body Day Spa with the exception that it is native to Expression Engine.

All transactions take place via 128-bit SSL so that customers can feel safe knowing their data is not being intercepted by third party entities.

Tech: Essential Therapy Store & Spa was developed in PHP using the Expression Engine content management system. The client has administrative control over the content as well as feedback and gift certificate purchases.
