Hair and Body Day Spa is a business located in Gallatin, Tennessee offering a traditional and European-style spa experience. The objective of their web presence was to promote the products and services offered by the spa, give customers the opportunity to schedule appointments, purchase gift certificates, and allow customers to provide on-site feedback for the services and products they had purchased.

Gift certificates can be purchased in any denomination. The user provides the information on who the certificate is going to, who it is from as well as any custom message to be included with the gift certificate. They can also select from a number of traditional or seasonal styles for the certificate itself. Once payment has been made a PDF of the certificate is generated on the fly and presented to the customer as a download. The certificate file is also emailed to the customer. The certificate contains a unique certificate number that can be tracked by Hair and Body Day Spa.

This solution was custom-programmed and is similar to the system used by Essential Therapy Store and Spa with the exception that it has been ported to work within Drupal's node system

All transactions take place via 128-bit SSL so that customers can feel safe knowing their data is not being intercepted by third party entities.

Tech: Hair and Body Day Spa was developed in PHP using the Drupal content management system. The client has administrative control over the content as well as feedback and gift certificate purchases.
